KCSB invites you to a screening of The Takeover, produced by KCSB’s Rosie Bultman and Office of Black Student Development intern Zoe McCullough. Join us next Thursday, May 22nd, 5:00pm at the Multicultural Center Theater.

The documentary tells the story of UCSB’s Black Power movement and the creation of our Black Studies department—one of the first in the country. You’ll get a personal look into this powerful story, with exclusive interviews with the activists involved and archival audio of the historic protests.
