Happy week 6, #UCSB ‼️❤️ To commemorate APIDA Heritage month, we are hosting a joint event with @ucsbwellness and @ucsbecp at St. Mike’s University Church on Friday, May 17th from 1-2:30 P.M. 🌳 ⭐️ Come learn how to plant Asian cultural vegetables in personal containers, make Jeow Som (Laotian spicy & sour dipping sauce) using ingredients from the garden, and the history of the APIDA farming community. We aim to bridge environmentalism and culture by bringing together APIDA students from the community, teaching about heritage, and increasing access to cultural foods!
