Are you interested in the media and entertainment industry? Are you looking for career development and networking opportunities with seasoned professionals? If so, we would love to have you in attendance at the Third Annual Women in Media Conference on April 28th and 29th. All UCSB students are welcome to attend!

Women in Media (WIM) is an organization focused on empowering and educating students interested in women’s roles and issues within the entertainment industry. Our goal is to prepare the next generation of women media-makers as they enter into the professional world. This conference, composed primarily of seminars, panels, and workshops, features distinguished women from across the entertainment industry. Past guests include Karen Horne (NBCUniversal), Alison Mobley (Funny or Die), Rochell Brown (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Dana Sullivan (The Bachelor, UnReal), Delanie Fischer (Last Call with Carson Daly), Stephanie Choi (American Horror Story), and more!

To attend this year’s WIM Conference, fill out and turn in our application (in the link below) to the Film and Media Studies Department main office at SSMS 2433. The application fee includes admission to both days of the conference, catered meals for the entire weekend, and a custom WIM portfolio.  Please direct any questions or concerns to wimucsb@gmail.com, and we hope to see you there!
