UCSB Wind Ensemble

General Admission

Under the direction of Paul Bambach, the UCSB Wind Ensemble will present its annual winter concert, “Go with the Flow,” on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall. The ensemble will perform George Frideric Handel ’s “celebratory” Water Music, Vittorio Giannini’s “dramatic” Fantasia for Band and Percy Grainger’s “masterpiece” Lincolnshire Posy. The concert will also feature graduate assistant Cynthia Vong conducting Frank Ticheli’s “joyful” Sun Dance. Rounding out the concert will be band arrangements of O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen, First Essay by Samuel Barber, and Overture to Candide by Leonard Bernstein. Photo by Eric Isaacs.
