Directed by Scott Marcus, the UCSB Middle East Ensemble will celebrate its 30th year with a presentation of music and dance reflecting the great variety of cultures found in the Middle East on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 7:30 pm in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall. The program will feature a number of special guest artists, including Reza Mahini, Hassan Harfouche, Javid-John Mosadeghi, Nazerke Doskelde, and Sarah Salem, as well as performances by the UCSB Middle East Ensemble Dance Company, with choreographies by Cris! Basimah, Laurel Victoria Gray, and Hassan Harfouche.
