Hello Gauchos!

Planned Parenthood Generation Action (PPGA) at UCSB is proud to host sex educator, Kait Scalisi, MPH for an evening workshop, “Sex+: A Conversation about Sexuality, Gender, & Healthcare” at the Student Resource Building Multi-Purpose Room on Tuesday, November 28th from 7:30 – 9:00pm. This event is open to all!

When it comes to sex, healthcare providers & public health campaigns focus on negative outcomes like unplanned pregnancies, STIs, and violence. Sex positivity, on the other hand, views sex as fundamentally healthy. It promotes pleasure and doesn’t judge anyone’s desires. This presentation examines the evolution of sex-positivity in healthcare. You’ll learn how you can play a role in positively influencing the healthcare system to be more inclusive and accessible and leave feeling empowered to take charge of your own sexual healthcare!
