General Admission

South Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho was thrust into the top ranks of the musical world in 2015 when his flawless, insightful performances earned the Gold Medal at the Chopin Competition in Warsaw. His live album of that competition has reached ninefold platinum sales in Korea, achieved gold status in Poland, attracted a worldwide following and earned critical raves. After his sold-out Santa Barbara debut last season, the poetic young artist returns, bringing his deep musicianship and “lucid and shimmering sound” (Financial Times) to masterful renditions of Debussy and Chopin.
