Plant Restoration Tour

Free Event

Like nature walks? Wanna get your hands dirty? Feel the stress disappear as you dig in (literally) with UCSB’s restoration ecologist, Scott Tomkinson, who will be leading us to the vernal pools near the West Campus bluffs. There, you’ll have an opportunity to plant some scrubbage! A fun, hands-on way to learn about native plant communities while actually saving native plant communities.

This field trip is totally FREE. All you need to bring are close-toe shoes, pants you don’t mind getting a wee bit dirty, water, and a smile. We’ll provide the sunglasses.
