The Center for Cold War Studies and International History presents a free film screening of McCarthy. Seventy years ago this February, Senator Joseph R. McCarthy launched his destructive anticommunist rampage. This riveting PBS documentary, directed by Sharon Grimberg, chronicles the demagogue’s extraordinary rise and fall. Following the screening, Professor Salim Yaqub of the Department of History will lead an audience discussion.
