Garba is a form of traditional dance performed during Navratri nights in India. Navratri is one of the longest Indian festivals lasting 9 nights. Community members assemble in the evenings dressed up in colorful garbs and play Garba by tapping a pair of sticks rhythmically while dancing to groovy Indian folk music. IASB Garba Night 2016 is an endeavor to recreate this experience on UCSB campus. Please drop by for an evening of enjoyment, social dancing and light Indian dinner!
