Dubbed “America’s new past master” by the Chicago Tribune, Brinkley is the author of The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America, Rightful Heritage: Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Land of America and The Quiet World: Saving Alaska’s Wilderness Kingdom. A professor of history at Rice University, he has been described by CNN as “a man who knows more about the presidency than just about any human being alive.”
