Are you ready to raise a toast to science and engineering research-inspired art? For the seventh
year in a row, the Art of Science competition is excited to unveil this year’s 42 entries that
share remarkable visual stories of creativity and discovery at UCSB.

Winners will be announced at the Art of Science Reception on Thursday, March 12 from
4:00pm–5:00pm at Elings Hall First Floor Lobby—and we invite you to join us for an hour of art,
science, and celebration!

Winning images will be awarded various prizes (1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Peoples
Choice, & Best Caption, and honorable mentions) and become part of the exhibits at
MOXI (Spring 2020), UCSB Library (Summer 2020), and other venues.

The Art of Science is a collaboration between the Schuller Lab (ECE), the Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships-California Nanosystems Institute, the College of Creative Studies, and the UCSB Library.
